Dylan Ramsey: Versatile Young Actor Leaps From Mouth of Shark Into Existential Nihilism, Enthusiastically

Last week he was fending off sharks while filming in the bayous of Louisiana and this week he is plunging into the depths of existentialism and nihilism while opening in Los Angeles in the new play "The Beautiful Ones." This is just another example of the virtuosic versatility of the boundlessly enthusiastic globe-trotting actor Dylan Ramsey, who has portrayed characters ranging from a chimerical suicide bomber on FX's "Nip/Tuck" to a self-deprecating cross-dressing male prostitute in HBO's "Donny & Ginger."
Born in Prague, raised in Toronto, educated in New York at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and now living in Los Angeles, Dylan already has had numerous starring roles in film, television, and theater. Fluent in Arabic and Polish, a master of dialects as diverse as Middle Eastern and Cockney, a former soldier and professional hip-hop dancer, this is a man for all seasons and all roles, given his upbringing and experience.
With a Jewish mother and an Arabic father, an East European birth, a Canadian education, and a California residence, he is already a walking melting pot of characters for stage and screen.
